Cleveland Utilities Celebrates Public Power Week, October 4-10

Public Power Week 2020

Cleveland Utilities is celebrating Public Power Week, October 4-10, along with more than 2,000 other community-powered, not-for-profit electric utilities that collectively provide electricity to 49 million Americans.

“We’ve certainly seen our share of challenges this year,” said Tim Henderson, CU President/CEO. “But we continue to pull together with a common goal: keeping Cleveland and Bradley County powered.  We’ve proven that, despite the challenges, we power on," said Henderson.

We take pride in serving our friends and neighbors with some of our most essential needs,” continued Henderson. “Cleveland Utilities is proud to have served our community for 81 years.”

During Public Power Week, we celebrate the benefits of living in a public power community, including:
            *Low Rates
            *High Reliability
            *Customer Responsiveness
            *Community Focus
            *Economic Development
            *Local Control
